Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Midway, Utah is a quaint haven that offers a unique charm and a slower pace. Having grown up coming here as our family had a second home I decided to branch out and open another studio in the place I like to call home away from home. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, here are some of my favorite places to eat, shop, and play.

Eateries You Can’t Miss:

JUDY’S: This charming spot is perfect for a leisurely breakfast or a quick coffee break. Their homemade pastries and freshly made apple fritters (among several other amazing donuts) is my all time favorite for that morning sweet treat.
LOLA’S: This family-owned lunch and dinner deli is the perfect place to get something healthy and savory. It’s a favorite among locals.
PIZZA GALLERIA: This family-owned pizzeria serves up some of the best pizza in town. Their wood-fired oven gives each pizza a unique, irresistible flavor. The dough is mouth watering!
PIZZA YARD: (VERY NEW) Also a family owned pizzeria with a darling yard to eat in that feels like you stepped into the streets of Italy. Try the carrots! They are so good!

Shopping Local Treasures

FERNWEH: If you’re into luxury clothing and accessories, this is your go-to shop. The owner has a keen eye for fashion, and you’re bound to find something special.
HAVEN: This boutique showcases handmade goods from local artisans. From jewelry to pottery, you’ll find unique pieces that make perfect gifts or keepsakes.

Fun and Play:

COMMUNITY THEATER: This gem hosts a variety of performances, from plays to live music. Check their schedule for upcoming shows—you won’t be disappointed!
SATURDAY FAMERS MARKET: Held every weekend, in the summer months through fall, this market is a vibrant gathering of local farmers and artisans. Fresh produce, handmade crafts, and delicious treats await you. The fresh sourdough bread and pastries are to die for!

Living and working in Midway, Utah as an interior designer has been an enriching experience, and these spots have become my go-to places for eating, shopping, and unwinding. Each visit to these local gems is a reminder of the town’s unique charm and the warm, welcoming community that makes it so special.
